W.I.P will make more pretty later,.note I made this guide specifically for downloading WarfareRO but it should work the same with any ragnarok private server. Im also new to RMS so bare with me pls This is a guide to running RO on a Mac by running Windows XP on your mac.

1. Create a Master Account

You'll need to first create a master account by following the link under 'My Account'. Your master account is required to create game accounts and to post on our bulletin's tracker. It is very important to use a working email address, and not a temporary one, as you will need to verify your master account and use your master account email address to change passwords and delete characters. Never give out your master account information! Staff members will never ask for your passwords.
NOTE: Each person is only permitted to have ONE master account. Those found to have multiple master accounts are subject to punishment up to and including a ban from the game without warning.
By registering a master account and/or using Ragnarok: Asgard Legend services, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service


2. Create a Game Account

After you've created your master account, you can now create game accounts. Log in to the bulletin or the main site using your master account information. Then, click on 'Create' under the 'My Account' tab of the top navigation, or click the following link: Create Game Account. You can create as many game accounts as you like and manage them under the 'My Account' tab of the top navigation.


3. Download and Play

Next, you'll need to download the game client. There are two versions that you can choose to download depending on if you are running Windows or MacOS. Simply follow the directions for each platform to play.

  1. Download the zip file from one of the above links.
  2. Extract the zip file into your desired location or our recommended location: 'C:GamesAsgard Legend'
  3. Run 'Asgard Legend.exe' as administrator to bring up the patch client.
  4. Press 'Start Game' to play or click on the cogwheel in the top right corner to open up settings.

  3. Run 'Asgard Legend.app' to bring up the patch client. Note: You will need to allow network connections when prompted.

Macro Additional notes for MacOS users:
  • - This client only works for MacOS Mojave and prior. It is not supported beyond Mojave.
  • - Shortcuts for in-game windows, such as Alt+A, function by pression option+A instead.

Troubleshooting

The following are a few common issues and solutions for windows installations that have been reported by our players. Please be sure to read through these first before asking for help on Discord as many installation issues are usualyl fixed by one of the following.


Issue #1: Missing 'Asgard Legend.exe' (false positive for anti-virus programs, including Windows Defender)

Solution: Disable anti-virus programs or set an exception for your Asgard Legend folder. If you need to re-download the patcher only, you can do so here: Asgard Legend Patcher
Reason: 'Asgard Legend.exe' is our patcher and what is used to update the game. It is commonly flagged incorrectly by anti-virus programs and deleted or quarantined.

Issue #2: 'Error: AL.exe - Entry Point Not Found'

Solution: Delete or rename the file 'dbghelp.dll' in your installation folder.
Reason: Your installation does not require the above file.

Issue #3: The game window never opens after logging in.

Solution: Adjust your game resolution to one supported by Ragnarok Online and try unchecking the 'Lock Window' option.
Reason: The game client does not support certain resolutions, especially resolutions above 1920x1080 pixels.

Issue #4: Certain maps appear 'glitchy' or 'bugged' visually.

Solution: Make sure that your Graphics Device option says 'HAL' only. Do not choose any options that have 'T&L' in them. You can also try toggling the checkbox of 'Disable hardware-accelerated graphics.'
Reason: Many maps Asgard Legend uses are customized and require options with 'HAL' only.

Issue #5: Miscellaneous issues.

Solution: Always be sure to run your patcher ('Asgard Legend.exe') before logging in. You can also try to troubleshoot compatibility issues and running programs as administrator.
Reason: Many other errors come from not being fully patched and missing files or general administrator rights and compatibility issues.

It includes everything you need to play Origins Online. Extract the .zip archive and run OriginsroLauncher.exe to play.

Origins Online runs on the versions of Windows supported by Microsoft. This includes:

  • Windows 10 (recommended version 1909 or newer)

Older versions (starting with Windows Vista Service Pack 2) may or may not work. Windows XP has been reported not to work. Windows 7 requires Service Pack 1 or newer. Future support for Windows 7 or older versions of Windows 8 and 10 is not guaranteed.

Notes
Download and extract both files. OriginsroApp contains an installer utility (OS X 10.11 El Capitan or newer) and a PDF file with manual installation instructions (OS X 10.10 Yosemite or older). Once you have followed the instructions to install the game, start OriginsroLauncher.app to play.
