- Caesar III is a great game if you like the Sim City type city building sim. There is not too much conquest (e.g. Command and Conquer gameplay), as you can only assert direct control over your military units. The major challenge is to create a stable environment that sims will want to move into and work in.

I recommend to buy the GOG.com version which is DRM free and works straight away out of the box. Used that version in the video. How To Play Caesar 3 On Mac
Install is simple:
1. Get Porting Kit or Crossover if you don’t have it yet.
2. Then download the GOG.com setup files from Pharaoh + Cleopatra from GOG.
3. Then in Porting Kit search the game on the library –> server tab and click install.
4. After installation of the game, “exit” the GOG installer.
5. Click “Play” to start the game! Have fun!
